Electrical & Automation Engineer

Flowid is looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical & Automation Engineer with a strong focus on electrical engineering. You will play a key role in independently designing, selecting, and verifying electrical systems, as well as ensuring the quality of installations.

Key responsibilities:

Design and select electrical equipment: Independently design and select all necessary electrical components, ensuring they meet project requirements.
Create detailed electrical drawings: Produce detailed schematics and layouts using Eplan or WScad.
Ensure quality of installation: Verify the quality of electrical system installations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaborate with automation teams: Work closely with automation engineers, bringing your electrical expertise to assist in system integration.

Skills:

Proficient in using Eplan or WScad for electrical design.
Knowledge of ATEX/IECEX engineering and installation.
Extensive experience working with DCS and PLC hardware including Siemens, Allen Bradley, Emerson and ABB.
Affinity or experience in automation programming, preferably with TIA-Portal, Studio 500 or other IEC61131-3 compliant systems.
A strong passion for automation, with experience in PLC programming and automation systems, is a plus.
Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary environment and collaborating with engineers and clients.
Willing to travel for challenging projects.
Communicatively skilled, with fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Education & Experience:

A higher vocational education or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering.
A few years of experience, capable of working independently as an electrical engineer.
