Maintenance & Service Engineer (Full-time, 40 hours)

As a Maintenance & Service Engineer, you will play a key role in carrying out maintenance and service activities at customer sites while also supporting operations at our location in Zaltbommel. This is a hands-on role in which you will work directly on machines and installations, solve technical issues, and help ensure that service, maintenance, planning, procurement, work orders, administration, and operational support are handled in a structured and efficient way.

Your responsibilities:

• Carry out assembly, testing, installation, and commissioning work on Flowid SpinPro reactors and other process installations, both in Zaltbommel and at customer sites around the world.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and installations, including inspections, service visits, and recommissioning activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, process, electrical, and automation-related issues, either independently or together with specialist colleagues.
• Prepare and coordinate service and maintenance activities in close collaboration with customers, technicians, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Arrange the procurement of spare parts, tools, and other materials required for service, maintenance, and operational activities.
• Create, process, and follow up on work orders, maintenance records, service reports, and related administrative tasks.
• Maintain direct contact with customers regarding planning, progress, technical findings, and follow-up actions.
• Support operations at our Zaltbommel location, including workshop activities, inventory management, tools, logistics, operational assets, and workplace safety.

Who we are looking for:

• You are hands-on and enjoy working directly on machines and installations.
• You have experience in service, maintenance, installation, commissioning, or a similar technical role.
• You enjoy solving technical problems and have a practical approach to troubleshooting.
• You have an affinity with multiple technical disciplines, including process technology, mechanical engineering, electronics, and automation.
• You have strong communication and coordination skills.
• You work in a structured way and are comfortable with planning, administration, and follow-up.
• You are flexible and willing to travel internationally.
• You are proactive and have a strong sense of responsibility.
