Increases in yield and selectivity are possible between 3% for dedicated, and 25% for multipurpose facilities depending on process characteristics and kinetics. This is possible due to steady state operation in continuous processes. A significant reduction in energy usage is gained by the extended operating window. This allows elevated pressures and temperatures. Due to the small internal volumes pressures up to 100 bar and temperatures up to 180°C are possible on standard equipment.
Small internal volumes make processes intrinsic safe. Small hold-ups enable the safe handeling of dangerous intermediates. Great proces controllability has more advantages than better yields. It allows you come to a safe stop at all time. Stopping the dosing system stops the process in seconds. The processes controllability allows you to adjust process parameters during operation based on measured output, keeping your product within specs.
Produce exactly the required amount of product required at a specific moment or location. Switch between different products or grades in minutes. Processes and equipment designed and built by Flowid is compact and contain low volumes. Full automation with pleasant graphical interfaces form our signature.

To achieve all this, we develop continuous process solutions and products that can be implemented in all stages of the product development process: from R&D to pilot plants. Our solutions are easily scalable from pilot to full scale production capacity. Our solutions have a great look & feel and have very user friendly interfaces, which put the user firmly in control of all of their processes.
