Next Generation Reactor Engineering
Micronit Products
Micronit’s microreactor modules consist of monolithic glass modules with volumes of 10 millilitres up to hundreds of millilitres Reactor temperature can be actively controlled by integrated heating or cooling channels. Multiple small reactors can be set parallel in one microreactor module requiring less lab space and peripheral equipment then other microreactor systems, which helps to reduce capital investment.

Micronit uses high quality borosilicate glass, the same as is used for making laboratory glass-ware. The glass is inert to most liquids and can handle highly corrosive acids were stainless steel fails. It is furthermore optical clear, allowing visual inspection and analyses.

Micronit is capable of custom fabricating almost any microreactor design for any specific chemical reaction.

About Micronit Microfluidics
Micronit Microfluidics is widely know for developing and manufacturing glass lab-on-a-chip devices for the worldwide life science and chemical industry. A unique combination of expertise in microfluidics engineering and experience in glass micromachining allows Micronit to create a wide variety of microfluidic devices for various applications.

Key characteristics of Micronit products and services are their high quality and accuracy. During design for manufacturing, special care is given to the reproducibility of the product.

Micronit has now applied its knowledge to a larger scale, manufacturing glass reactor modules for chemical production to a scale of up to tonnes per year. Several customers are now evaluating the use of the technology, which is safer and more efficient than batch processes and can be easily scaled up.
